Our Optometrists Sheila Houghton BSc (Hons) MCOptom DipCLP Sheila studied Optometry at City University in London and gained her pre-registration experience at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Sheila has four children and can often be found on a windy touchline in the rugby season. She is a member of her local church and keeps fit by walking and cycling with her dog. Sara White BSc (Hons) MCOptom Sara also studied Optometry at City University, beginning her career in Guildford. Sara was until recently a keen hockey player, meeting her husband on the hockey pitch. She now watches most sports and enjoys skiing, golf, running and walking. Her other interests include reading, gardening and DIY. Our Dispensing Optician Paul Bitten Paul is a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with over 20 years experience in the profession. He helps the future of the profession by acting as an examiner of students for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians. Our Receptionists Morven McDonald Morven has been with us since January 2007. She lives locally though she originally hails from Scotland. Hers is one of the voices that will greet you when you call to make an appointment and she will be happy to help you with any queries you may have. Alison Bailey Alison also lives locally and she has been with us since October 2010. She will also be pleased to help you with your questions or arrange an appointment when you call.
